Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Uzbek media reported that Tashkent will host two important meetings from September 3 to 6 this year.

 

The purpose of the 10th International Scientific-Practical Meeting among Members and Observers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for Combating International Terrorism and Extremism and the second meeting of the Organization of Independent Countries in Combating Terrorism is to exchange views and experiences in the field of organizing the fight against terrorism. 

 

The meetings will also discuss extremism and the creation of a unified concept and approach to deal with new threats to the security of member states and improve international cooperation.
