Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): After months of denial, the Israeli army has now admitted that it is "most likely" that the bombing of the location where three Israeli hostages were held in Gaza, which occurred in November, was the cause of the death of all three people.
The bodies of the three captives – Corporal Nick Beiser, Sergeant Ron Sherman and French-Israeli Elia Toledano – were discovered on December 14, but the Israeli military and medical examiner have never publicly released their cause of death.
The Israeli army said in a statement: These three people were probably killed during the elimination of Ahmed Ghandour, the commander of the northern brigade of Hamas. The army said its investigation showed the three captives were being held in a tunnel complex from which Ghandour operated.
