According to the ministry, he said that the practical start of the TAPI gas pipeline inside Afghanistan shows a significant change in the regional discourse and a move from conflict and competition to progress and cooperation.
Emphasizing the political determination of the Afghan ruling body for the successful implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs added that the completion of this project will benefit Afghanistan as well as the people of Pakistan and India.
He also asked the representatives of the regional organization and the ambassadors of the resident governments in Kabul to go beyond negative competition, security concerns and zero and one approaches and instead adopt a win-win approach for the welfare of the people of the region.
Mr. Muttaqi added that many countries in the world have realized that instead of focusing on issues through the eyes of geopolitics, they can adopt the eyes of geoeconomics, which leads to mutual benefits for all.
