Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Afghanistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said on Monday that the sixth Moscow Format meeting on Afghanistan will be held in October this year.
He said Russia would also invite the Islamic Emirate to the meeting.
Russian Ambassador to Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov met with Amir Khan Mottaki, the acting foreign minister of the Islamic Emirate, last month and invited him to attend the meeting.
The Russian ambassador to Kabul also stressed that Russia attaches importance to relations with the Islamic Emirate.
"We will invite the Afghan delegation to participate in all regional and international meetings hosted by the country," he said.
The previous Moscow Format meeting was held in Kazan, Russia, with representatives from India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
