The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, during the meeting with the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishutsin, stated that the exchange of diplomatic delegations between Iran and Russia has led to the development of interactions and communications between the two countries, as well as strengthening cooperation in order to speed up the implementation of the agreements and added : We believe that if the important joint projects of Iran and Russia reach the implementation stage, they will create great capacities in the field of dealing with oppressive sanctions for both countries.
He further considered the agreement to turn Iran into a transit hub and gas hub of the region as an excellent example of joint cooperation between Iran and Russia in order to secure the interests of the two countries and to create sustainable development, convergence growth and economic growth in the region, and stressed the necessity of the authorities' efforts.
He also said that regional cooperation on the basis of international organizations such as BRICS and Shanghai has led to the strengthening of independent countries such as Iran, Russia and China in order to confront the unilateralism of the United States and said: the escalation of crimes and the creation of tension by the Zionist regime with the direct support of the United States and with the aim of The groundwork for the expansion of the American presence in the region is taking place, it is considered a common threat to the interests of the countries and nations of the region, which necessitates greater cooperation and cooperation to counter such a conspiracy.
During this meeting, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishutsin also expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with the President of Iran and conveyed the warm greetings of the President of this country, Vladimir Putin, to Pezeshkian, regarding his country's interest in strengthening and expanding interactions and exchanges with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in the fields of energy and industry, transportation, agriculture, health and treatment and cultural affairs and said: despite the very good increase in trade exchanges in the last few months, there are still great capacities in the two countries to ensure mutual benefits, which we want to activate.
He also emphasized the necessity of expanding cooperation between Iran and Russia in order to realize the new world order for the benefit of all the countries of the world and addressed the president: We are waiting for your presence in Russia to participate in the BRICS summit and also to sign the comprehensive strategic agreement between the two countries.
Mikhail Mishutsin also expressed concern about the escalation of tensions in the region with the support of the Americans and said that the United States is seeking to secure its interests by supporting the increase in tensions and conflicts in different parts of the world, and the independent countries of the region, including Iran and Russia, must cooperate to deal with such actions.
