Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to the Russian TASS news agency, Zamir Kabulov stated in a press conference after the "Moscow format meeting" that this decision was taken "at the highest political level in Moscow".
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also stated during his speech at the Moscow format meeting that it is necessary to maintain pragmatic dialogue between Moscow and the Islamic Emirate.
Meanwhile, Amir Khan Motaghi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate welcomed these statements and emphasized that he wants effective steps in this regard.
Lavrov also noted that without the cooperation of the Islamic Emirate, it will be impossible to address the challenges of Afghanistan.
He added: "Moscow will continue its path in developing political, commercial and economic relations with (Taliban)."
The Russian Foreign Minister has appreciated Afghanistan's efforts to eradicate drug cultivation and production and fight against ISIS.
On the other hand, Motaghi admitted that the cooperation of the countries of the region is necessary in the fight against Daesh and claimed that Daesh has established educational centers outside the borders of Afghanistan.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in July that the Islamic Emirate is committed to fighting terrorism.
