Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Anas Haqqani, one of the senior members of the Islamic Emirate, published an article on X channel in response to the 23rd anniversary of the US invasion of Afghanistan and the occupation of the country.
He added that in the 21st century, Afghans once again proved their unshakable commitment to their faith and freedom and were ready to sacrifice themselves like their ancestors.
Anas Haqqani emphasized that for 20 years, the resistance proved to America and NATO that material forces cannot break the determination of a nation.
This senior member of the Islamic Emirate added that according to this analogy, the Palestinians' one-year struggle and sacrifices showed the double standards of the world order with their iron will, firm determination and self-sacrifice that they will win.
Sohail Shaheen, head of the political office of the Islamic Emirate in Qatar, also said that 20 years of American occupation in Afghanistan did not bear any fruit for them.
He added: 23 years ago, on October 7, 2001, America and its allies attacked Afghanistan under the pretext of September 11, in which no Afghans were involved. But; Afghans rose once again and proved their mettle.
Shaheen stated: 20 years of occupation of Afghanistan, destruction, night raids and bloodshed at the hands of the aggressors did not give them victory or good name.
According to him, this is a lesson for future adventurers. Afghans can be good friends or worst enemies.
Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said that the US occupation of Afghanistan was a cruel attack on Afghanistan that resulted in thousands of martyrs, wounded, imprisoned and homeless people.
The Islamic Emirate in a statement called the day a black day in the history of the country and said that the occupation caused thousands of martyrs and many economic damage to the country.
