The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has announced that in the near future, the fourth meeting of the special representatives of countries regarding Afghanistan will be held in this country, hosted by the United Nations.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar announced today (Wednesday, Oct 30) by publishing a newsletter that the fourth meeting of special representatives of countries regarding Afghanistan will be held in the near future.
In this newsletter, it is stated that Rosemary DiCarlo, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations for Political and Peace Affairs, discussed with Aliya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations in New York.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar said that in this meeting, the necessity of using the positive atmosphere created in the third Doha meeting regarding Afghanistan and also the importance of its development in the fourth meeting that is going to be held in this country was emphasized.
The third Doha meeting on Afghanistan, hosted by the United Nations, was held on June 30 and July 1 in Doha, and the delegation of the Islamic Emirate, headed by Zabihullah Mujahid, the government spokesman, participated in the meeting.
