He said: The Syrian army has deployed towards Aleppo airport routes to protect the city from destruction and devastation.
In this regard, the Reuters news agency also reported, citing two military sources: Airstrikes were carried out on the "Aleppo Al-Jadeeda" neighborhood located in western Aleppo, which appears to have been carried out by Russian warplanes.
Al Jazeera also reported, citing terrorist groups, that terrorists took control of the Abu al-Dhuhour military airport in the southern suburbs of Idlib.
In this regard, Samer al-Zarqa, a reporter for the Iraqi Al-Ahd network in Syria, also announced: The Syrian army is implementing a detailed plan to control the chaotic situation in Idlib and Aleppo.
He said: The Syrian army is widely deployed around the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib.
The reporter continued: International support for terrorist groups in Syria is very clear, and the entry of terrorists into the city of Aleppo is a clear violation of international agreements that were previously concluded.
Citing Tasnim, Baghdad Al-Youm News Agency also reported: Over the past 2 days, the rural areas of Idlib and Aleppo witnessed a large wave of displacement due to the escalation of military tension, especially in the western suburbs of Aleppo and the towns of eastern Idlib, and these clashes caused thousands of civilians to flee to safe areas.
According to the media outlet, these battles have displaced about 14,000 people, and intense clashes between the Syrian army and terrorist groups are still ongoing.
On Wednesday last week, just hours after the announcement of a ceasefire between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, news of a large-scale operation by the terrorist group "Tahrir al-Sham" in northwestern Syria and the province of Aleppo was released.
This group, which was previously known as the Nusra Front, began a ground advance towards the Syrian army's deployment centers in western Aleppo in recent days. In addition to "Tahrir al-Sham", the names of several other terrorist groups allied with these terrorists are also seen among the attackers in Aleppo. In addition, some news reports indicate that the group called the "Syrian National Army" consisting of Syrian oppositionists supported by Turkey is also participating in the battles alongside the Tahrir al-Sham group.
According to Sputnik, in response to these attacks, the Syrian army, supported by the Russian Air Force, has carried out extensive airstrikes on terrorist positions and targeted many of their fortifications. Some reports indicate that the Syrian army is preparing to counter the terrorists' advance and defend its front lines in Aleppo. These battles have intensified, especially in the western suburbs of Aleppo and strategic areas close to the Turkish border, and are still ongoing.
