Ukrainians no longer want Zelensky
According to reports and statistics, about 60 percent of Ukrainians are against Zelensky's continued presence in the upcoming presidential race in the country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Most Ukrainian voters prefer that Volodymyr Zelensky, the current President of Ukraine, not run for a new round of presidential elections in the country.
According to the Times, most Ukrainian voters are against Zelensky remaining in power as president in the country due to systemic corruption in Ukraine and Zelensky's performance during the country's war with Russia.
Accordingly, it is said that 60 percent of Ukrainians no longer intend to support Zelensky in the upcoming presidential race in the country.
According to most polls, Zelensky's popularity in Ukraine has reached its lowest level since the country's war with Russia three years ago, with only 16 percent of voters in the country agreeing to continue his presidency.
According to surveys, the extensive economic damage caused by the war with Russia, along with the damage to the country's infrastructure, has sharply reduced the support of the Ukrainian people for Zelensky.
Meanwhile, the popularity of Valery Zaluzhny, the former commander of the Ukrainian armed forces and current ambassador to London, is increasing compared to Zelensky, with about 26 percent of voters in the country supporting him in the upcoming presidential election.
In this regard, some foreign media outlets have attributed Zaluzhny's dismissal from his post as commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Zelensky's concern about his rise to power and his increasing popularity among voters in the country, and have pointed out that Zelensky saw him as his rival.
The Ukrainian presidential election was scheduled for May 31 of this year, but it was canceled due to the prevailing war conditions in the country.
Zelensky has once again emphasized in recent days that in the current situation, there is no possibility of holding presidential elections in Ukraine, and according to him, this process should continue until the war ends.
