If Syria is divided, Turkey will also be divided/Ankara's positions are not the views of the Turkish people

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Mehr, after nearly five years when it was thought that the tensions in Syria were coming to an end, a new and unprecedented chapter is now being experienced in the 13-year-old Syrian civil war. The recent attacks by terrorist groups in Syria, and in a short period after the ceasefire in Lebanon, show that some governments are not leaving any effort to bring the region to chaos.
However, in the meantime, the Turkish government's position on recent developments is cause for reflection. Despite claiming that they have played no role in the movements of terrorist groups in Syria, Turkish officials firmly emphasize Ankara's support for some of these forces. This apparent contradiction in the statements of Turkish officials comes at a time when, until a few months ago, politicians in this country and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan himself had announced Ankara's interest in resuming relations with Syria.
"Doğu Princek", leader of the Turkish Patriotic Party and candidate for the 2018 presidential election, explained his view on recent developments in Syria and the position of the Turkish authorities and government in an exclusive interview with the Turkish (Istanbul) section of Mehr News Agency, the Persian translation of which can be read below.
Can we analyze the recent developments in Syria within the framework of the great regional map of the United States and Israel?
Currently, Syria is the front line of all humanity. First of all, the front line is the governments, peoples and Muslims of West Asia because today Syria is heroically resisting the Israeli and American attack on behalf of humanity. The attack of Tahrir al-Sham is the attack of Israel. It is Israel that entered Aleppo. Today, Syria, Iran, Russia, Palestine, Yemen and the Turkish people are on the front line. Our hearts beat in Syria with Syria, in Palestine with Palestine, in Iran with Iran. We are absolutely sure that Syria will emerge victorious from this struggle. In a short time, war tactics will be implemented and retreats will occur. These are events that have been seen throughout world history in wars.
Of course, we know very well that American imperialism is falling, the dollar monarchy has fallen. Great military powers in the world have formed against the armed power of America. Russia, Iran, China, Turkey and Syria are the same military powers. America has no chance of success on this front.
The Gaza resistance taught great lessons to Israel. Israel could not capture even a small area, so it has turned the war into an arena for massacre.
America and Israel have no chance of winning in our region. As the "Homeland Party", we do not consider it appropriate for Turkey to remain silent and be a mere spectator at this time. The Turkish nation is also on this front. Our hearts beat with the Syrian nation and we are sure that Syria will return to normal conditions; Syria will achieve victory with the support of the countries of the region, especially Russia, Iran, other Arab countries and the Turkish nation. The fronts are clear. To our north, Russia is fighting against America on the Ukrainian front. We are fighting terrorist organizations under American control in Turkey. To the south, Palestine is creating an epic and is fighting on the front lines like Syria today.
Iran is also standing against American imperialism. We are all together on this front, and for success it is essential to gather all our forces at every point on the front, and that is why today we cannot leave Syria alone, it is our great responsibility to stand up to America and Israel.
Can the events taking place in Syria affect Turkey's national security?
If Syria is divided, Turkey will also be divided. Today, US and Israeli imperialism are seeking to create a second Israel in West Asia!
Let's remember the 1991 Gulf War. The US invaded Iraq and divided it. In the northern part of Iraq, it established a so-called Kurdistan, but in reality a second Israel.
After 2010, US imperialism again took provocative actions inside Syria and tried to divide Syria, but Syria, led by Bashar al-Assad, resisted these US-Israeli initiatives.
But they still created a terrorist corridor called the US-Israeli corridor in northern Syria and on the Turkish border. In this way, they opened a window from the Eastern Mediterranean to Kurdistan.
When we look at what they have done since the Gulf War, we find that the strategic goal of the US and Israel in our region is to create a second Israel. This plan targets Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
The goal of America is to divide these four countries in the region and create a second Israel from these regions. In this respect, our fate is common. That is, the fate of Turkey, Iran, Syria and Iraq is always common both economically and in terms of security. Therefore, Syria is our front line, as a result of which the division of Syria threatens and divides our countries. We must support the Syrian resistance with all our might, for humanitarian reasons as a Muslim nation and in terms of neighborly loyalty.
I believe that Turkey will also overcome its doubts on this issue because ninety percent of the Turkish people see America and Israel as enemies.
Therefore, some positions taken in Turkey on behalf of America and Israel are not future-proof positions. These positions are always condemned by the people. For this reason, the Patriotic Party is resolutely fighting for the Turkish government to take a position against America and Israel, trust Turkey in this regard!
In recent years, some media outlets have reported news that the Turkish government is pursuing a policy of militarily strengthening some terrorist forces in Syria. What is your analysis?
In some different institutions of Turkey, there are attitudes and views that have remained from past cooperation with the West. But the strongest attitude in Turkey is the national attitude. This attitude is the same as resistance to America and Israel. The Astana process was also a product of this tendency.
Recently, the Patriotic Party has proposed that let's cooperate with Turkey, Syria, Iran and Russia in northern Syria, to cleanse the terrorist organizations in northern Syria that are enemies of Islam under the banner of Islam. The Patriotic Party has presented its plan to the governments of Syria, Iran, Russia and Turkey. There have also been forums and recently Mr. Tayyip Erdogan proposed to Bashar al-Assad that we meet and evaluate the process we are in.
America is very afraid of Turkey's presence on the West Asian front with Syria, Iran, Iraq and Russia. This changes the regional and global balance. That is why the attack on Aleppo that we are experiencing now was carried out directly by America and Israel. What is the purpose of this attack? Turkey and Syria should not get close to each other or join hands. The countries of the region should not unite against America and Israel. There are currently some doubts in the Turkish government. I believe that these are temporary. Because the Turkish nation is firmly on the side of Syria and on the Syrian-Palestinian front. We see Israel as an enemy and we hope that our government will not continue its hesitant positions and join the Syrian front.
