Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The statement of the Syrian army command was published on Sunday morning, after the capture of Damascus by armed groups, as well as the news of Bashar Assad's departure from Syria.
Western and Arab media published reports on Sunday morning, raising news about Bashar Assad's departure from Syria and the entry of armed groups into the country's capital, Damascus.
Al-Arabiya TV claimed in a report on Sunday morning that armed groups opposing Bashar Assad entered Damascus hours ago and took control of the Syrian capital.
Al-Mayadeen also reported, citing Reuters, that armed groups entered Damascus without any sign of the Syrian army.
According to the Reuters report, the network also quoted senior Syrian officials as saying that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had left Damascus for an unknown destination.
According to Arab and Western media outlets, including CNN and Reuters, Assad left Damascus for an unknown destination that could be outside Syria or inside Syria (the Alawite cities of Latakia and Tartous on the Mediterranean coast).
Media outlets affiliated with the armed groups said that they had entered the Syrian Radio and Television building and taken control of the media outlet.
The Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed news outlet also reported that armed groups had taken control of the Saydnaya prison, the largest prison in Damascus, and that its prisoners had been released.
Official Syrian media outlets have not yet published any news on this matter.

Al-Julani: Syrian Prime Minister Will Manage Various Institutions
The leader of Tahrir al-Sham Group has announced that "Mohammed Ghazi al-Jalali" will manage organizations and ministries until he officially transfers power.
Al-Julani called on all Syrians not to attack government institutions and institutions.
He also banned shooting as a celebration in Damascus.
Syrian National President/Transfer of Power Will Be Coordinated by the United Nations
On the other hand, the head of the Syrian National Coalition, the main opposition wing of the exiled government of Bashar al-Assad, said: The transfer of power in the country will be coordinated by the United Nations.
Hadi al-Bahra, the head of the Syrian National Coalition, who is based in Turkey, said in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV that: Damascus and other cities in the country are safe and there is no question of revenge.
Stating that Syrian institutions will resume their normal activities within 2 days, he added: A new historical period will begin in Syria.
According to IRNA, armed opposition groups in Syria launched a massive attack on Syrian army positions in the northwest, west and southwest of Aleppo on the morning of November 27, 2024, with the support of some countries and the arrival of fresh foreign forces.
In this regard, Syrian Defense Minister General al-Imad Abbas said on Thursday night that Takfiri groups are supported by some countries and regional and international parties, which openly support them militarily and logistically.
The movements of armed groups against Syrian army positions violated the ceasefire agreement concluded in 2020 because this area is subject to the "de-escalation" agreement that was signed with the guarantees of Turkey in Astana and includes areas in Idlib, the outskirts of Aleppo, and parts of Hama and Latakia.
