Despite Turkey's announcement to ban trade with Israel due to the regime's military actions in Gaza, 41 ships have left Turkish ports for Israel since November 1.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Some Turkish news sources claimed on Saturday that 41 Turkish commercial ships have left for Israeli ports since November 1.

According to the Turkish Mint website, despite Turkey's announcement to ban trade with Israel due to the regime's military actions in Gaza, 41 ships have left Turkish ports for Israel since November 1.

A list prepared from international maritime traffic records contains details of ships departing from ports such as Mersin, Iskenderun, Nemrut, etc. to Israeli ports such as Ashdod and Haifa. This data indicates the continuation of maritime activities between the two sides.

This comes despite Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan being a vocal critic of Israel’s actions in Gaza and presenting Turkey as a strong ally of the Palestinians in international forums. However, his claims contradict Ankara’s trade with Tel Aviv.

In recent weeks, protests have intensified in Turkey over reports of continued economic ties with Israel, with activists accusing Erdogan’s government of hypocrisy.
