Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: "Ismail Baqaei", the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with the "Tehran Times" newspaper, announced that the Iranian diplomats in the Iranian embassy in Damascus had left the embassy building before the attack by unknown armed men this morning.
Baqaei emphasized that all the Iranian employees of the Iranian embassy in Damascus are in perfect health and had left the embassy building before the attackers entered.
A few hours ago, the Saudi Al-Arabiya network published images related to the attack of armed elements on the Iranian embassy in Damascus.
According to Al-Arabiya, the mentioned elements broke the windows and threw out the documents and destroyed the equipment inside the Iranian embassy.
It should be mentioned that this morning, after about 10 scattered clashes, armed groups entered Damascus, the capital of Syria.
