Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Sources confirmed to TOLO news that Khalilur Rahman Haqqani, Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriates, along with several others, were martyred in an explosion inside the ministry.
Two sources in the Islamic Emirate government, who did not want their names to be disclosed, also confirmed to Radio Azadi that Mr. Haqqani was martyred in an explosion today, Wednesday, December 11.
Earlier, Al Jazeera reported, citing sources, that Khalilur Rahman Haqqani was martyred in an explosion inside the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates Affairs.
The government has not officially said anything about this yet. However, "Khalid Zadran", a spokesman for the Kabul police, confirmed in an interview with IRNA that the acting Minister of Refugees Affairs was killed in an explosion at the ministry's mosque this afternoon.
