Former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan: Deporting legal immigrants is a gross violation of human rights

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International: Yesterday, he addressed this issue on X channel and in an article, he asked the Pakistani authorities why people with valid visas and documents, including women and children, should be detained. The judge also considered these measures to be the cause of growing concerns about the unfair treatment of immigrants and the representation of xenophobia and deep hatred in the society.

This former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan says that the deportation of Afghan immigrants has a legal basis of "gross violation of human rights".

At the same time, some Afghan immigrants in Pakistan express concern and say that after the New Year, Islamabad has intensified the process of forced deportation of Afghan citizens and the Pakistani police has started door-to-door inspections.

So far, Pakistani officials have not commented on this.

Before this, international organizations and human rights institutions have called for immediate action to investigate such cases and stop unfair behavior against Afghan immigrants in this country.

It should be noted that Pakistan has resumed the process of deporting immigrants following the escalation of tensions with the Islamic Emirate.
