Iran condemns US and British aggression on Yemen’s Saada
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned the US and British airstrikes on the infrastructure of Yemen’s Saada province, calling them a threat to the security and stability of the West Asian region.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Ismail Bagai, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, strongly condemned the US and British airstrikes on the infrastructure of Saada province in northern Yemen yesterday (Sunday, January 5).
According to the Al-Masirah network, American and British fighter jets targeted Saada province in northern Yemen three times this morning.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman called the continuation and repetition of the US, British and Zionist military aggressions on Yemen a clear violation of Yemen’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and contrary to the principles and norms of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Bagai also warned that these aggressive actions will further spread insecurity and instability in the West Asian region.
Referring to the ongoing genocide and killing of the oppressed Palestinian people, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly condemned the continued US and British arms and political support for the Zionist regime, which is considered their direct participation in committing heinous international crimes against the people of Gaza.
Praising the honorable position of the Yemeni people and other free nations in solidarity and support for the Palestinian people, he called for more serious mobilization by the international community and Islamic countries, especially at the level of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to stop the genocide in occupied Palestine and help the displaced people of Gaza.
Not long ago, the Zionist regime also attempted to invade Sanaa International Airport and the facilities of the port of Hodeidah and destroy the energy production infrastructure in Yemen, which was strongly condemned by Ismail Baghaei.
