Tensions between the US and China likely to escalate under Trump
The Financial Times newspaper wrote in a report: The confrontation between China and the US under US President-elect Donald Trump could intensify and even surpass their confrontation during the Cold War. According to the newspaper, the two superpowers of the West and the East, and two fierce rivals, have many conflicts of interest in various commercial, economic, political and international fields, and transforming a wide range of conflicts of interest into aligned and common interests between them is a very difficult task.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Financial Times report states: Many predictions could turn out to be wrong because Beijing officials are as confident as the Trump team, and both sides believe that they have the upper hand in mutual relations and can inflict more damage on the other side and show greater resistance to retaliatory measures.
According to the Financial Times, the tension in relations between Beijing and Washington could bring further instability to a world that is already in a very complex and complicated situation, and the best possible scenario is that the world returns to the Cold War era because the world situation during that period seems like a happy memory compared to the current situation.
The Financial Times report states: On the other hand, Beijing believes that it is now better prepared than in 2017 to start a new round of confrontation with the Trump administration because Washington's global influence in the global South is declining, while Beijing's role in these countries is increasing.
The Financial Times report, pointing out that China is ready to react quickly and sharply if the United States adopts an unfriendly approach, especially in the economic field, reminds: We should not forget that Beijing has already rejected Washington's invitation for Chinese President Xi Jinping to attend Trump's inauguration.
As two superpowers of the West and the East and two fierce rivals, the United States and China have many conflicts of interest in various commercial, economic, political and international fields, and it is very difficult to transform a wide range of conflicts of interest into aligned and common interests between them.
The Yellow Dragon's invasion of vast territories from countries in different regions of the world, thanks to China's powerful economy and advanced technology, has severely narrowed the field for Washington. Especially in recent years, many countries in Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and even Europe, based on their analyses of the course and trend of world developments, have shown an increased desire to expand their relations with China because in the current world conditions, observing the unilateral policies of the United States, they do not see a bright future in their alliance with Washington, and China's multilateral approach and the country's remarkable progress in various fields have attracted them.

On the other hand, realities such as the intensity and acceleration of the global de-dollarization process and the growing hatred of countries for unilateralism and warmongering, two prominent characteristics of the White House for decades and years that have plagued the international community, have caused global public opinion to not see a clear horizon for continuing cooperation and companionship with the United States.
