Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of Kabul Municipality issued a press release saying that in order to prevent and reduce air pollution in Kabul, the monitoring and inspection board of the Environmental Health and Environment Department of this institution monitored and inspected the installation and operation of smoke purification filters in the heating system of residential buildings and bathrooms.
According to the press release, the environmental control and inspection of Kabul Municipality has been ongoing for some time, as a result of which hundreds of air pollutants have been corrected and equipped with standard smoke purification filters.
In addition to providing environmental recommendations, the violators were also asked to commit to activating the smoke purification filters of heating centers and their related heating systems as soon as possible.
This is while air pollution in the capital has increased sharply with the arrival of winter, causing respiratory diseases among citizens.
