The Leader of the Islamic Revolution called the presence of American occupation forces in Iraq illegal and contrary to the interests of the Iraqi people and government, and emphasized: Evidence and evidence indicate that the Americans are trying to consolidate and expand their presence in Iraq, and this occupation must be resisted with seriousness.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also referred to the developments in the region, especially the situation in Syria, and emphasized: The role of foreign governments in these matters is clearly evident.

In this meeting, which was also attended by Iranian President Masoud Pezhikian, Iraqi Prime Minister Shia al-Sudani expressed his satisfaction with his talks in Tehran and expressed his hope that these talks and agreements reached in Tehran would further expand and deepen relations between the two countries.

The Iraqi Prime Minister listed the “people,” the “Popular Mobilization Forces,” “national unity and cohesion,” and “authority” as components of power in Iraq. Referring to the Zionist regime’s aggression in Gaza and Lebanon, he emphasized: Iraq’s principled position has been to support the people of Gaza and Lebanon and to resist in the region.

Al-Sudani also pointed out the developments in Syria and the role of foreigners in these developments and noted: Iraq’s position has always been to support the will of the Syrian people, preserve the independence and territorial integrity of this country, and form an inclusive government.
