Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Information and Culture issued a press release saying that Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, acting minister of the ministry, met with Ms. Boskovic Pohar Viranika, the new EU Chargé d’Affaires, and their accompanying delegation in his office.
In this meeting, both sides discussed and exchanged views on the protection of cultural heritage, its value, and raising public awareness about cultural heritage.
The acting minister of Information and Culture, while appreciating the cooperation of the European Union in protecting cultural heritage, emphasized the further development of relations and added: Protecting cultural heritage is not only the duty of Afghans, but also the duty of the world to fully cooperate with Afghanistan in this regard.
Finally, the new EU Chargé d’Affaires assured the full cooperation of the Union in protecting Afghanistan’s cultural heritage.
