Hamas took special measures to protect Israeli prisoners

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In an interview with Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper, informed sources in the Palestinian resistance informed and announced that the pressure of the Zionist regime against Hamas to implement the prisoner exchange agreement has increased. Despite Hamas's agreement to include the names of 12 more Israeli prisoners in the prisoner exchange list, the pressure against the resistance continues, and the Israeli security apparatus is thus looking for suitable signals to know where the Israeli prisoners are kept.

 

One of the leaders of the resistance said in this regard: Hamas and other resistance groups that are responsible for the security of Israeli prisoners are well aware of these tricks of the occupation and they know very well that there are major differences and delays in the current prisoner exchange agreement. Now, there is no justification from the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu.

 

This Hamas official, who asked not to be named, said, referring to new measures adopted regarding the rules of conflict and the way to protect Israeli prisoners, that based on this, without an agreement, no prisoners will be released alive from Gaza, and the families of Israeli prisoners should know that Netanyahu is risking the lives of his sons under the illusion of taking them out without an agreement.

 

He continued: "Even if the occupying army and the intelligence agencies reach the prisoners, which is unlikely, they can only find their bodies, while even the matter of reaching the bodies is doubtful."

 

The leader of the resistance continued to say that "the responsibility of securing the security of Israeli prisoners is currently entrusted to martyrdom teams".

 

He refused to mention more details about these martyrdom teams and added: The recent flexibilities of the Hamas movement in the negotiations are aimed at speeding up the process of reaching an agreement on the exchange of prisoners and a ceasefire in the shadow of the continued suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip.

 

This resistance leader then pointed out that the political leadership of Hamas outside Gaza was unaware of the details of the situation of the 34 Israeli prisoners whose names were on the prisoner exchange list and explained that Hamas had confirmed that these people were alive in the previous rounds of negotiations, but in In the current situation, due to the continuation of Israeli attacks, there is no accurate information about them, and in the current situation, Hamas does not accept the risk of following up on the situation of these prisoners, and by doing so, both the lives of the prisoners and their protection teams endanger

 

Meanwhile, it is said that the issue of the permanent cessation of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip in the prisoner exchange agreement remains in an aura of ambiguity, and until this issue is clarified, Hamas avoids the exchange of prisoners.
