Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: In the ranking made by the Henley Institute, Afghanistan's passport is ranked at the bottom of the table after Iraq and Syria, and thus it is known as the least valid passport in the world.
The countries of Singapore and Japan are in the first and second ranks of the most valid passports in the world. This ranking is based on information from the International Air Transport Organization (IATA).
The countries whose passport holders can travel without the need for a visa are at the top.
In this ranking, Afghanistan is at the bottom of the table after Iraq and Syria, and the country's citizens can travel to 26 countries without the need for a visa.
These 26 countries include Sri Lanka, Somalia, Kenya, Cambodia and Bangladesh.
Henley Global Institute's report states: "The Henley Passport Index is the main and authoritative ranking of all passports in the world based on the number of destinations that their holders can access without a prior visa. "The index is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the largest and most accurate travel database - and compiled by the institute's research team."
In this classification, the validity of the Singapore passport is higher than the passports of Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain and France, and its citizens can travel to 195 countries of the world without a visa.
After Singapore, Japan ranks second and its citizens can travel to 193 countries in the world without receiving a visa.
America is one of the 22 countries that has seen a significant drop in the validity of its passport in the last 10 years. Likewise, the validity of Canadian and British passports has also dropped in the global Henley index.
The Henley Passport Index is a globally recognized assessment that assesses the validity of passports based on visa-free travel to other countries.
It should be mentioned that during the past few years, the Afghan passport won the title of the most worthless passport in the world.
