Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: According to the local officials of the Directorate of Martyrs and Disabled in Bamyan province, 141 million Afghanis have been distributed to the heirs of the martyrs and disabled in Bamyan during the current solar year.
Marzieh Ramezani, one of the disabled, who is disabled from the throat area and lives in extreme poverty, told Ava that they are not given disability money in the current situation and are facing many problems due to extreme poverty. He asked the government to cooperate with the disabled in this province.
Fatemeh Mohammadi, another disabled person who is visually impaired and still complains of severe poverty, says that currently there is no visible assistance for them and she asked the government to cooperate with them.
On the other hand, Seyyed Raziq Danesh, the head of the Association of Disabled People in Bamyan, says that until now, no points have been given to those who are disabled from the same area or have a natural and congenital disability, but according to the newly established procedure, those who have a congenital and natural disability Martyrs and disabled people will be given points by the directorate and implementing this process will be useful and effective for disabled people.
Mr. Danesh asked the government to pay more attention to the problems of the disabled and not to make a difference between war disabled or natural disabled, because Bamyan, despite being the most mountainous province, has the most disabled people and the majority of these disabled are natural and congenital.
Meanwhile, Shahwali Ahmadi, head of Bamiyan martyrs and disabled affairs, said in an interview with Ava reporter that more than 10 thousand disabled people are registered in this department and 4 thousand of them have received their monthly assistance this year. 7 thousand 8 hundred and 65 people from the families of the martyrs have also benefited from their monthly privileges, which, in total, during the current solar year, the amount of 141 million Afghanis has been distributed to the families of the martyrs and disabled people of this province.
According to Mr. Ahmadi, disabled people who are from a disabled member or are disabled by birth or natural disability, their privileges are currently suspended and will be implemented.
