Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This demonstration, which took place on Friday Jan 10, was in response to the call of the "People's Committee to Support the Cause of the Palestinian Nation".
In this regard, a massive demonstration was held in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, with the presence of tens of thousands of people at the invitation of Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Ansarullah.
Participants held Palestinian and Yemeni flags and carried signs that emphasized Yemenis' continued support for Gaza and condemned the "Israeli genocide."
Demonstrators chanted slogans against the "Zionist-American aggression" on Yemen, Gaza and the nations of the region.
Yemen's Saba news agency, which is owned by Ansarullah, also reported that the participants in the demonstration emphasized that no aggression will be able to stop the Yemeni people from their positions in support of the Palestinians.
A statement released by the organizers said: "What the Zionist enemy has published as old maps to claim its land is part of a larger plan known as 'Greater Israel'."
Simultaneously with these attacks, in support of Gaza and protesting the "Israeli genocide supported by the United States" which led to the martyrdom and wounding of more than 155,000 Palestinians, the Yemeni armed forces have been attacking Israeli ships or those related to this regime in the sea since November 2023. Red has attacked with missiles and drones and has also targeted targets in Israel.
In response to the full support of the Yemenis to the people of Gaza, the United States and England also started air operations and missile attacks against Yemen in early 2024.
In response to this aggressive act, the Yemeni armed forces have also announced that they consider all American and British ships as their military targets and attack ships passing through the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and any point where their weapons can reach.
