Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the National Disaster Preparedness Directorate said in a statement that Mullah Nooruddin Torabi, the head of the department, met with Kazakh Ambassador to Kabul Gaziz Akbasov and his delegation.
During the meeting, Mr. Torabi pointed out the serious need for aid in Afghanistan and called for the continuation and increase of Kazakhstan's humanitarian aid in the country.
Meanwhile, the Kazakh ambassador to Kabul assured that Kazakhstan will continue to provide assistance to Afghanistan and asked the National Disaster Preparedness Agency to share a list of people's needs.
With the arrival of winter in the country, the need for humanitarian aid has increased.
Earlier, the World Food Program (WFP) said millions of people in Afghanistan were in urgent need of assistance, and the majority of families were forced to choose between food and keeping their children warm.
