Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al Jazeera, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken acknowledged in a speech: Hamas cannot be defeated with a military solution alone. Our estimate is that Hamas has attracted new forces as much as it has lost strength.
Continuing his speech at the Atlantic Council think tank meeting, Blinken added: The continuation of the war situation is damaging the Israeli economy. Gaza has isolated Israel internationally and caused instability. All people in the Gaza Strip are facing hunger.
He continued: Our goal is to create a new reality in the Middle East. Last year, we provided Israel with $25 billion in aid.
The US Secretary of State also said: Cairo and Doha have reached a final formula for a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. A committee will take over the administration of the Gaza Strip the day after the war and hand it over to a Palestinian government. A temporary security force will be formed in Gaza, consisting of forces from allied countries and Palestinian elements whose identities have been confirmed.
Blinken claimed: No one can force Israel to accept a Palestinian state ruled by Hamas or any other extremist organization.
