Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): After North Korea demarcated new lines on the Korean Peninsula, Seoul, Tokyo and Washington also held a joint air exercise.
Yesterday, Pyongyang fired a number of its short-range ballistic missiles. This is the second time this year that North Korea has launched its missiles.
Pyongyang had already tested its medium-range hypersonic ballistic missiles in the early days of 2025 "to deal with security threats."
The rapid progress and development of North Korea's missile and nuclear weapons has scared East Asian countries, including Japan and South Korea. These two countries are trying to prepare themselves for possible threats from North Korea by strengthening military cooperation with America.
Seoul, Tokyo and Washington have held joint military exercises on several occasions to counter possible "provocative actions" by Pyongyang.
