Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Donald Trump plans to launch a major immigration offensive in Chicago a day after taking office, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing four officials. The raid, which is expected to begin Tuesday, will continue throughout the week, adding that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will deploy between 100 and 200 officers to conduct the operation.
"The focus will not be on Chicago and it's a nationwide operation," a person familiar with the show told the show. You’ll see mass layoffs in Miami and New York, too.
"If the mayor of Chicago doesn't want to help, he can step down," said Tom Homan, Trump's representative on deportation. But if he hinders us, if he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien, I will prosecute him.
Trump has promised to launch the largest deportation program since the beginning of the election campaign.
