Forced deportation of refugees from Pakistan and Iran is against international principles
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates says that the Deputy UN High Commissioner for Refugees, in a meeting with the new head of the ministry, called the forced deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan and Iran an act against international principles and announced his readiness to build settlements for refugees in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates issued a press release saying that Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the new head of the ministry, met and talked with Rauf Mazo, the Deputy UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

According to the press release, in this meeting, the two sides discussed the situation of Afghan refugees, a permanent solution for migration, creating facilities in refugee settlements, and holding trilateral and quadrilateral meetings with Pakistan and Iran to solve the problems of Afghan refugees.

In this meeting, Mr. Mazo called the forced deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan and Iran an act against international principles and expressed his readiness to build settlements for refugees in Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Maulvi Abdul Kabir stated that the return of Afghan refugees to the country is one of the priorities of the Islamic Emirate and added that Afghan refugees must be returned to the country in accordance with international principles.

It is worth noting that the forced and voluntary deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan and Iran to the country continues.
