The scale of destruction in northern Gaza is catastrophic; humanitarian aid arrives in Gaza
UN officials announced the arrival of more than 630 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Tom Fletcher announced in a message on X today (Jan 20) the arrival of trucks carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, saying that at least 300 of the 630 trucks took the aid to northern Gaza.

Fletcher emphasized that "there is no time to lose. After 15 months of relentless fighting, the humanitarian needs are staggering."

Yesterday, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that he was ready to support the implementation of the ceasefire and increase humanitarian aid to the war-torn and suffering Palestinians.

He stressed that “a ceasefire must remove significant security and political obstacles to the delivery of aid.”

According to health officials, around 47,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been martyred in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023.

The scale of the destruction in northern Gaza is catastrophic, with neighborhoods razed to the ground.
