Islamic Emirate Foreign Ministry official welcomes Araqchi
Zakir Jalali, an official of the Islamic Emirate Foreign Ministry, welcomed the upcoming visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi to Kabul and said that this visit could take relations between the two countries to a new stage.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: Zakir Jalali, an official of the Islamic Emirate Foreign Ministry, welcomed the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi to Kabul.

Mr. Jalali wrote on the X social network: "Common political, economic and security interests between Afghanistan and Iran are an opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation."

The Foreign Ministry official called Araqchi's visit to Kabul a constructive step towards strengthening relations and added that this visit could take relations between the two countries to a new stage.

This comes while the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul announced this morning, Thursday, that Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, the country's Foreign Minister, is visiting Afghanistan.

This is the first visit by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran after the Islamic Emirate came to power in the country.

It is worth noting that Iran and Afghanistan have long-standing cultural and religious relations, and the two neighboring countries have also improved their political relations over the past few years.
