Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) announced in a statement that Mohammed bin Salman had a telephone conversation with Donald Trump.
The statement said: The two sides emphasized the need to cooperate to establish peace, security and stability in the Middle East, as well as to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
Referring to the economic reforms expected by the Trump administration and its potential to create unprecedented prosperity, the Saudi Crown Prince announced Saudi Arabia's willingness to exploit opportunities for partnership and investment in the United States.
He emphasized that Riyadh intends to increase its investments and trade relations with the United States by $600 billion in the next four years, and this figure could increase if more opportunities are provided.
Trump also thanked King Salman and Mohammed bin Salman for their congratulations and emphasized his eagerness to work with Saudi Arabia's leaders in the interests of the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that Donald Trump said in a conversation with reporters at the White House yesterday that he would go to Saudi Arabia as his first foreign trip destination if one condition was met. Trump said that if Saudi Arabia agreed to buy American products worth $450 billion, he would choose this country as his first foreign trip destination.
During the signing of some executive orders at the White House, when a reporter asked Trump about his first foreign trip destination after the inauguration, he gave an interesting answer. Trump said: "Usually my first foreign trip is to England, but the last time I went to Saudi Arabia because they had agreed to buy $450 billion of our products."
He added: "At that time, I told them that I would travel to your country, but of course you have to buy American products, and they agreed to this condition and bought $450 billion from us. I don't know if the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wants to buy another $450 billion or $500 billion from us, in which case I will increase this amount with inflation."
