Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Isaac Barak, a famous general in the Zionist army and former head of complaints handling for the regime's military, announced in a speech in response to recent developments and the establishment of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip that the Israeli army has disintegrated and is unable to return to war in the Gaza Strip.
The Zionist general emphasized: Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements were able to return to their pre-war status, and Israeli society is on the brink of civil war. The reality is that if the war had continued, the Israeli army would not have been able to defeat Hamas.
Isaac Barak added: The Israeli army is unable to remain in the places it occupied in the Gaza Strip and cannot destroy hundreds of kilometers of Hamas tunnels. If this war had continued, hundreds more would have been killed by the Israeli army, all our prisoners would have died, and Israel would have suffered a terrible disaster.
The Zionist general stated: The Israeli army failed in its goal of weakening Hamas, and Hamas continues to dominate the underground cities in the Gaza Strip with the upper hand, and with thousands of young people joining the ranks of this movement, the losses that Hamas suffered during the war have been compensated.
He continued: The Israeli army is tired, worn out, and grounded. Any attempt to return to war in the Gaza Strip has already failed and will result in the deaths of hundreds of more Israeli forces and the injury of thousands more.
Critical analyses in Zionist circles about the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip continue, and the point that most Zionist media and experts agree on is that Israel was forced to accept the ceasefire without achieving any of its declared goals.
Avi Issacharov, a political analyst for the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, stated in this regard: The ceasefire in Gaza was a major political defeat for Israel, and the reason for this defeat is due to Netanyahu's cabinet, which consciously decided to continue Hamas rule in Gaza. The situation of the three released Israeli prisoners in Gaza, who were being transferred to Red Cross vehicles, and thousands of Palestinians, including hundreds of Hamas armed forces, standing around these prisoners with green headbands, shows the extent of the political defeat of Israel and its cabinet, which consciously decided to continue Hamas rule in Gaza, and this movement is still alive after 15 months of war.
He added: "The Israeli cabinet, headed by Netanyahu, announced in the first weeks of the war that the war would continue until Hamas was destroyed. But now we see that Hamas not only survived on a military level; its rule over Gaza is also intact and continues."
