The Israeli army has asked for a 30-day deadline to withdraw from southern Lebanon
The Israeli media, citing the regime's officials, reported that Tel Aviv has asked the US to extend the time for the complete withdrawal of the regime's troops from southern Lebanon by another 30 days.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz quoted an informed source as saying that Tel Aviv has asked Washington to give it another 30 days to withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon.
 
Meanwhile, the Israeli ambassador to Washington announced: We are discussing with the administration of US President Donald Trump about extending the presence of the Israeli army in Lebanon after the withdrawal deadline on Sunday.
 
Earlier, the Israeli Channel 13 TV reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, through the regime's Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, has asked US President Donald Trump to allow Israeli forces to remain in several bases in southern Lebanon.
 
This is while the Zionist regime must withdraw completely from Lebanon within the next three days.
 
Some sources in the Zionist regime also said that Israel has requested to remain in five military points in southern Lebanon.
 
Meanwhile, the Zionist regime's security and political cabinet is scheduled to meet today to discuss the regime's withdrawal from Lebanon, which expires next Sunday.
