Afghanistan and Uzbekistan discuss the start of practical work on the Afghan-Trans project
The Ministry of Public Works says that the deputy minister of railways of the ministry met with the general director of the railway administration and the minister of transport of the country during his visit to Uzbekistan and discussed the expansion of bilateral railway cooperation and the way to start practical work on the Afghan-Trans project and accelerate coordination.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Public Works said in a press release that Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada, the deputy minister of railways of the ministry, who traveled to Uzbekistan, had meetings with Nazarlov Zafarghiasevich, the general director of the railway administration, and Ilham Mukhamov, the minister of transport of that country.

In these meetings, the increase in transportation via the Hairatan-Mazar-e Sharif railway route, the expansion of bilateral railway cooperation, the way to start practical work on the Afghan-Trans project and accelerate coordination were discussed.

The Deputy Minister of Railways of the Ministry of Public Works has visited Uzbekistan at the official invitation of that country, and the aim of this visit is to continue and expand bilateral trade and economic relations between the two countries.
