Hamas: Gaza is a fortress of resistance and the invincible will of its inhabitants
The head of the Hamas Office of Martyrs, Prisoners and Wounded says that the release of prisoners is a national celebration and a reflection of Palestinian unity. Gaza has proven that it is a fortress of resistance and an invincible will.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Hamas movement announced on Sunday morning that the prisoners released from the occupation regime's prisons within the framework of the prisoner exchange agreement arrived in Cairo and were welcomed by Hamas leaders and a number of leaders of Palestinian groups and the prisoners' families.

"Zaher Jabareen", the head of the Hamas Office of Martyrs, Prisoners and Wounded, said during the welcoming of the freed exiles to Cairo: The release of prisoners within the framework of the exchange agreement is a historic victory for the will of the Palestinian people and its courageous resistance. This battle revealed that our people have the ability to wrest their rights from the clutches of the occupiers, no matter how rebellious the enemy is.

Jabareen added: The release of prisoners is a national celebration and a reflection of Palestinian unity. The solidarity of our nation and its resistance is the only way to achieve complete freedom and national dignity. The resistance and sacrifice of our nation, especially in Gaza, were the fundamental pillars of this achievement. Gaza proved to be a fortress of resistance and invincible will.

The head of the Hamas Martyrs, Prisoners and Wounded Office continued to emphasize the necessity of rebuilding Gaza in line with loyalty to the people’s resistance and their great sacrifice.

Addressing the prisoners in the Israeli prisons, he also said: “The resistance will not back down until the last prisoner is freed. This achievement is a step towards the complete freedom of our nation and our will is stronger than the shackles and oppression of the occupiers.”

On Saturday, Hamas released four Israeli prisoners and handed them over to the International Red Cross, while the Israeli regime handed over 199 Palestinian prisoners and one Jordanian citizen. 114 prisoners went to the city of Ramallah in the West Bank, 16 prisoners returned to Gaza, and 70 freed exiles also went to Egypt.

Fighters from the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades handed over the four prisoners to Red Cross officials in Palestine Square in the center of Gaza City.

The handover of these Zionist prisoners took place in the presence of members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, in Palestine Square in Gaza, with a large crowd of citizens waving the flags of Palestine, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad.
