Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: John Egland, head of the Norwegian Refugee Council, told AFP that the international community has ignored the Afghan people since the Islamic Emirate returned to power.
He criticized the lack of international interaction with Afghanistan, saying that few representatives of European countries travel to the country.
Egland stressed that diplomats and officials from European countries should travel to Kabul and Kandahar to work for the rights of women and girls.
“There is no need to hold more meetings in Paris, Copenhagen or Oslo; Afghan women need us to interact with them inside Afghanistan and fight for their rights.”
