Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A grand conference "Afghanistan and the Quest for Martyrdom; Foundations and Works" was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Sayed Ali Akbar Misbah Mazari and 8 of his companions, organized by the Central Office of the Center for Cultural and Social Activities of Tebyan Afghanistan, on the afternoon of Thursday, January 30, in the presence of scholars, clerics, officials of organizations supporting journalists, political, cultural, and social figures, university and seminary professors, and a large group of people from different walks of life, including women and men, at the Seventh House of Martyrs in Kabul.

In this conference, Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Barat Ali Hosseini, one of the religious scholars of Ghazni province, pointed out the characteristics of martyrs on the Day of Judgment and the importance of remembering and honoring them, especially Martyr Ali Akbar Misbah Mazari (may Allah be pleased with him), and said that Martyr Misbah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companions were martyred in the way of spreading the religion of Islam.

He mentioned verses from the Holy Quran and pointed out the characteristics of the martyrs on the Day of Judgment, and said that one of these characteristics is the enjoyment of the light of the Day of Judgment that exists around them due to their faith, while on that day, darkness and gloom prevail.

Hujjatoleslam Hosseini described the bitterness of the loss of the martyrs as difficult for their families and added that the value of their martyrdom and sacrifice is higher than the pain and suffering they leave behind for the survivors.

According to this religious scholar, the martyrs will enjoy their own light on the Day of Judgment, and others will ask them for light, and in response, the martyrs will tell them that they must earn light in the world.

He listed the second characteristic of martyrs as their knowledge of human actions and worldly events, and said: "The Holy Quran says that martyrs are alive and receive sustenance from God and monitor human actions. This monitoring makes them worry about our wrong actions, and accordingly, we must try not to make the souls of martyrs unhappy with ourselves."

Hojjatoleslam Hosseini also pointed out the dangers of worldliness and Western culture, and emphasized that we must move on the path of religion and Sharia so that the souls of martyrs are happy with us.

It is worth mentioning that every year, with the arrival of the ninth of the month of Aquarius, the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimeen, Martyr Sayed Ali Akbar Misbah Mazari (RA) and 8 of his companions, the Center for Cultural and Social Activities of Tebyan Afghanistan organizes magnificent programs and conferences with the aim of honoring this dear martyr inside and outside the country.
