Israeli army withdraws from Rafah crossing
A reporter for the Israeli army radio reported that the army forces withdrew from the Rafah crossing yesterday (Friday) and that the crossing is under the control of foreign forces.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Doron Kadosh," a reporter for the Israeli army radio, has published details of the agreement between Israel and Hamas to reopen the "Rafah" land crossing.

Kadosh reported that, based on this agreement, the Israeli army forces withdrew from the Rafah crossing today and that the crossing is under the control of "foreign forces."

He claimed, citing an Israeli security source, that the crossing will only be reopened for the exit of Gaza residents, and that forces from the European Union, Palestine, and Egyptian personnel will also be present inside the crossing.

The Israeli army has occupied the Rafah border crossing since May 2024.

After the occupation of Rafah, none of the residents of Gaza have been able to leave the area and travel outside the borders of occupied Palestine.

Yesterday, the Israeli army officially announced its withdrawal from Rafah and said that foreign forces have been stationed at the crossing.

This is while all employees of the crossing must have security clearance. According to this Zionist journalist, the role of the Palestinian Authority at the crossing will only be to stamp the permits.

According to him, 50 wounded people will be allowed to pass through the crossing daily, along with 3 of their companions. In total, 200 people will leave Gaza through Rafah in one day.

He also said: "The most difficult clause of this agreement, which was very difficult to digest, is that Israel will also allow wounded Hamas forces to enter Egypt through this crossing; especially those who are seriously injured.

Kadosh announced: Those who participated in the war with the Israeli army inside the Gaza Strip and were wounded will be allowed to cross Rafah.

He also said about the mechanism of this crossing: The mediators will provide the names of the people who are to leave the crossing to the Zionist regime in advance, and the Israeli Shin Bet service will also send the list to the Egyptian side after reviewing it for its approval. After Egypt's approval, this list will be presented to the staff inside the crossing.

The Zionist journalist reported that according to this agreement, the Israeli army forces left the Rafah crossing yesterday and the crossing has been placed under the control of foreign forces. In addition, the Israeli army forces have been deployed in the Philadelphia axis area.

He also said that the first group of wounded people in Gaza will probably leave the crossing tomorrow and the Zionist regime has also approved the list of these people.
