Sheikh Naim Qassem said about the ceasefire and its repeated violations by the Israeli regime: The Lebanese government is fully responsible for following up and pressuring the Israeli regime to stop violating the ceasefire through observers, including the United States.
He continued: The Israeli aggressor's actions were not only not a violation of the ceasefire, but were considered initial attacks, and the Lebanese government must deal with this issue decisively. Since the United States of America can support this ceasefire, it must pressure the Israeli regime to adhere to the ceasefire.
Citing Tasnim, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon added: We, as Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance, waited all this time because we wanted the government to have the opportunity to address the ceasefire agreement. He said: Resistance is a path and an option, and we will act according to our assessment at the appropriate time, while an opposition campaign has been launched by the US and Israel, with the support of countries that, in cooperation with an internal team, are promoting the issue of defeat.
Stating that resistance in Lebanon is a path and an option, and Hezbollah is acting according to assessments, at the appropriate time, he emphasized that "we are not talking about absolute victory, because this is a battle in which there is both profit and loss. Victory and profit mean that we were able to break the Israeli attack with resistance and this enemy cannot eliminate resistance."
The Secretary General of Hezbollah said: The scenes of the return of the residents of southern Lebanon represent a popular position for freedom and a noble position for the liberation of the Lebanese lands, because we are facing a legendary and unparalleled resistance and resistance. The brave people of Lebanon, together with the resistance and their army, liberated Lebanon, and the people stand with the Lebanese army and the resistance.
Setting a date for the funeral of the martyrs Sayyed Hassan and Hashim Safi al-Din
Sheikh Naim Qassem said regarding the funeral of the martyrs Nasrallah and Hashim Safi al-Din that after the martyrdom of these two dear ones, the conditions in Lebanon were not such that a ceremony could be held for them. He said that it was decided that the ceremony would be held after the conditions were prepared, and as a result, their bodies would be buried on Sunday, February 23.
Stating that the slogan of the ceremony would be "We remain true to our covenant," he said that martyr Hashim Safi al-Din would also be buried as the former Secretary General of Hezbollah and in his hometown.
Sheikh Naim said: "Four days after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, we elected martyr Hashim Safi al-Din as the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon; therefore, he will also be buried with the title of Secretary General."
