The Islamic Emirate has issued a statement to offer condolences to the Palestinian nation on the martyrdom of “Mohammad Al-Dif,” the head of the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and other commanders of this movement, and stated that with the sacrifices of these prominent martyrs and other martyrs, the issue of Palestine has once again become a global issue. The statement states: “Thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, the Hamas movement has achieved significant political and military successes and has now become very strong and powerful.”
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, issued a statement on the X Network today (Monday, February 3) to offer condolences to the Hamas movement and the Palestinian nation on the martyrdom of Mohammad Al-Dif, the head of the military wing of the Hamas movement, and other commanders of this movement who were martyred by the Zionist regime during the historic battle of “Al-Aqsa Storm.”
The statement reads: "The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan extends its condolences to the leadership of Hamas, other officials, as well as the families, the Mujahideen, and the entire Palestinian nation on the martyrdom of Muhammad al-Dif, head of the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas), and other leaders of this movement."
The Islamic Emirate added: These leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement left a legacy of endless resistance against the Zionist occupation that will remain as a model of honor, courage, steadfastness, and commitment to the struggle for the independence of Palestine for future generations.
The statement also emphasized that this jihadist struggle is not weakened by martyrdom, but rather strengthens the path to achieving its ultimate goals.
The Islamic Emirate noted that thanks to the sacrifices of these prominent martyrs, the issue of Palestine has once again become an important global issue.
It further stated that the Hamas movement, relying on these sacrifices, has achieved further successes in the political and military arenas and has now become one of the most powerful regional forces.

This is while Abu Ubaydah, the spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, had previously announced that Muhammad Deif, the commander-in-chief of these brigades, along with a number of other commanders of these brigades, were martyred during the Gaza war.
He also added: Muhammad Deif (Abu Khaled), the commander-in-chief of the Al-Qassam Brigades, along with Marwan Issa (Abu al-Bara), the deputy commander-in-chief of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Ghazi Abu Tamaa (Abu Musa), the commander of the weapons and combat services department, Raed Thabit, the commander of the human resources department, Rafi Salama (Abu Muhammad), the commander of the Khan Yunis division, Ahmed Al-Ghandour (Abu Anas), the commander of the Northern Division, and Ayman Nawfal (Abu Ahmad), the commander of the Central Region Division of the Al-Qassam Brigades, were martyred during the Gaza war.

The Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023 to January 19, 2025, as a result of which more than 157,000 Palestinians, mainly women and children, were martyred and injured. In addition, more than 14,000 people went missing.
However, after 470 days of war and despite the widespread killings, the Zionist regime was forced to admit the fact that it had failed to achieve its goals of the war, namely the destruction of the Hamas movement and the return of Zionist prisoners, and agreed to a ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
The ceasefire agreement, which was brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States and after numerous negotiations in Cairo and Doha, came into effect on Sunday morning (January 30). In this agreement, the first phase of the ceasefire will last six weeks, and during this period, negotiations will begin to implement the second and third phases of the agreement.
After the ceasefire began, search operations began to find missing persons and to extract the bodies of martyrs from under the rubble, and every day more and more Palestinian martyrs are identified and their evidence is discovered in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
