Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Local sources reported today (Monday) that a massive explosion occurred in a building located in the Russian capital.

The RIA Novosti network reported that an unidentified explosive device, which is believed to be a bomb, exploded in the attic of the Aliya Parusa residential tower.

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office announced that it was investigating the explosion in the building, and the country's Federal Investigative Committee also said that it had opened a criminal case for the explosion.

Minutes later, the Moscow Emergency Management Department told the TASS news agency that one person was killed and four others were injured following a bomb explosion in the lobby of the tower located in northwest Moscow.

On the other hand, informed sources say that the target of today's explosion in Moscow is the commander of one of the Russian military brigades participating in the war in Ukraine.
