Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the National Disaster Preparedness Agency, in a press release on the X network, said that based on a memorandum of understanding signed between the National Disaster Preparedness Agency and the International Organization for Care, the Paktia Provincial Disaster Preparedness Directorate, with the financial support of the organization, distributed cash assistance to 500 needy families in Zurmat district and Gardez city, the provincial capital, after conducting a survey.
The press release states that in this process, in the presence of Maulvi Nisar Ahmad Nejat, Head of the Paktia Provincial Disaster Preparedness and a representative of the organization, 12,540 Afghanis were distributed to each family, with a total of 6,270,000 Afghanis allocated for this number of families.
It is worth noting that the Disaster Management Department, in cooperation with various institutions, provides assistance to returnees, victims, and those in need.
