The Hamas movement announced that talks on the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza have begun today (Tuesday).

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced today, Tuesday, that talks on the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza have begun.

"Abdul Latif Al-Qanua," Hamas spokesman, stressed on Tuesday: "Negotiations and communications for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement have begun, and we are currently pursuing the issue of housing, relief, and reconstruction for the people of Gaza."

Al-Qanua added: "The occupying regime is disrupting the humanitarian protocol in the ceasefire agreement and is delaying and procrastinating in its implementation."

He stated: "Housing and providing relief to the people of Gaza is an urgent humanitarian issue that should not be affected by the delay and games of the occupying regime."

Al-Qanua stated: “Rebuilding hospitals, repairing roads and water wells will bring life back to Gaza after the great destruction that has occurred there.”

The Hamas spokesman added: “The operation at the Tiyasir checkpoint east of Tubas is a response to the increasing aggression of the occupiers in the West Bank and emphasizes the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves.”

Abdul-Latif Al-Qanua noted: “The occupation regime’s lack of accountability and international silence encourages it to commit war crimes in the West Bank similar to those in Gaza.”

Al-Qanua said: “All of the occupation regime’s efforts to destroy the Palestinian people and abolish their rights in Gaza and the West Bank will fail.”

He concluded by emphasizing: “What the occupation regime failed to do in Gaza, it will not succeed in the West Bank, and this battle is a battle of wills.”
