Holding a scientific seminar on "Western Intellectual Goals Towards Muslim Youth in the Past Twenty Years" in Badakhshan Province

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mufti Abdul Momin Hazem, head of the Badakhshan Provincial Ulema Council, said in this seminar: The argument that the discoveries, progress and advancement of Western countries are rooted in the teachings of the Quran and the emergence of Islam is not excessive and far from the truth, and Muslims, as followers of Islam and the Quran, should be pioneers in progress and inventions.

 

He stated that the real progress of humanity is rooted in the Quran and Islam, and the awareness of Muslim youth against Western aggression is of particular importance.

 

The head of the Badakhshan Provincial Ulema Council considered youth as a blank slate and added: "Humans are thirsty for learning during their youth, and this group must be saturated and nourished with religious awareness and Islamic resources to remain safe from enemy attacks, and we all have a responsibility in this regard."

 

On the other hand, Mohammad Jan Mohaqiq, representative of the Badakhshan Provincial Information and Culture Department, says: Holding such seminars and strengthening the process of youth awareness in the country is necessary so that young people can build healthy capacity and be insured against foreign cultural influence.

 

Meanwhile, a number of university professors and officials of government departments in Badakhshan province say: The conspiracies of the enemies against Muslims, especially the youth, include attacks on destructive Western culture, division, teaching Western programs, and unhealthy upbringing. The most important tool of the enemy is the media and social networks, and the youth must learn how to use the media and social networks correctly.

 

They added: Right now, hundreds of young people are engaged in learning media studies and essential topics in educational courses, and more efforts are underway in this field by officials in cooperation with elites.

 

A number of young people participating in this seminar also said: It is necessary to grow and strengthen awareness among young people in order to preserve religious and national identity in the country, because the enemy's negative propaganda against followers of Islam is increasing.

 

It is worth noting that the main focus of this scientific seminar was "media studies and familiarizing young people with the activities of the enemies of Islam on social networks."
