Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem reacted to Trump's statements on Gaza in an interview with Al-Araby TV and announced: Trump's statements are completely rejected and Gaza is for its residents and they will never leave this area.
According to the Palestine Information Center, he added: Trump's statements about taking over the Gaza Strip mean declaring the occupation of this area and we do not need any country to advance Gaza's affairs and we do not accept a replacement occupying force.
The Hamas spokesman stated: "Countering the Trump project requires Palestinian unity to resist the expulsion of Palestinians, and we call on various Palestinian parties to unite against this project."
He added: "There are concerns about Israel abusing Trump's statements to extend the war in the Gaza Strip. The Trump administration is following the same path as the Israeli occupiers to continue their aggression against the Gaza Strip."
According to the Hamas spokesman, "We call on the Arab community to resist this action and to pressure Trump to remain steadfast in his position in opposing the expulsion of Palestinians."
Hazem Qassem said: "We also call for an emergency Arab meeting to confront this project, and we call on Arab nations and international organizations to take serious action in this regard."
It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump recently said that Israel will hand over the Gaza Strip to the United States at the end of the war, while there is no need for the presence of American forces there. He claimed that Gazans would live in safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes in the area.
