The policy of the Islamic Emirate is to counter the influence of countries in the political structure and internal affairs of Afghanistan
In an exclusive interview with the Afghan Ministry of Economy, the political structure of the current Afghan system is impenetrable and strong. Therefore, any country that wants to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate must first observe the principles of the Islamic Emirate.”
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: While the influence of different countries in the political, security, economic and social structures of Afghanistan, especially since half a century, has always been a matter of discussion and attention, the officials of the Islamic Emirate consider the current system different from the previous systems and impenetrable and emphasize the country's political independence.
Dr. Abdul Latif Nazari, the professional deputy minister of economy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said in an interview with AVA that the issue of political independence, national sovereignty and territorial integrity is a red line for Afghanistan.
"All cooperation with various countries, including Iran, Russia, China, Pakistan and Qatar, is carried out within the framework of the principles of the Islamic Emirate and mutual respect, and cooperation will continue on this basis," Nazari added.
"The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan continues to welcome various cooperation with countries in various fields, including political, economic, trade and transit, based on mutual respect," he stressed.
"We distinguish between interference and influence on the one hand and positive cooperation on the other," Nazari said. Therefore, any positive relationship and interaction cannot be considered interference and influence.”
"We consider cooperation with countries for the economic growth and development of the country as our most important responsibility and mission," he explained. We also consider it our national and Islamic duty to counter the influence and interference of countries.”
The Deputy Minister of Economy continued: “The Islamic Emirate always tries to have economic and trade cooperation with different countries in the region and the world within the framework of national interests and Islamic values. Having positive relations and interactions between the parties never means interference.”

What is the difference between the structures of political systems in the past and today?
Nazari also pointed to the differences between the past and current regimes, saying: “There is a very big difference between the current political structure and the political structures of the past. In the past, governments were basically puppets, but now the Islamic Emirate is an independent political system.”
According to Dr. Nazari, "the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to the political independence of the country above all, because Afghanistan has historically always suffered through foreign interference."
"In previous regimes, foreign intervention had taken victims from the people of this land and turned this land into a ruin," Nazari reiterated. So, it can be said that now with an independent and unified government, there is a very serious difference between the current political system and the past.”
"The Islamic Emirate will not allow any power to interfere in the internal affairs of the country," he concluded.

Afghanistan is a country that was extremely vulnerable until 2020 and 2021 due to prolonged imposed wars and political and security instability, and the ground was available for any kind of interference and influence in the political, security, economic and social structures of the country. But after the Islamic Emirate regained control and the Western hands were cut off from the country, the risks of infiltration and interference decreased.
However, Afghanistan is still at risk of foreign interference. Although the country is currently governed under a single and coherent government, the interference and behind-the-scenes activities of some intelligence agencies in the region and the world cannot be ignored.
Afghanistan can prevent the influence and interference of countries and maintain its political independence and territorial integrity by adopting solutions such as strengthening national sovereignty, active diplomacy, independent economic development, correct definition of foreign policy, consideration of strategy and mutual interests of neighboring countries, as well as regional cooperation.
