Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: With the arrival of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Alireza Ahmadi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif, pointed out in a press conference the positive domestic and global effects of this revolution and emphasized maximum interaction with the Afghan nation.
Referring to Iran's achievements after the Islamic Revolution, Ahmadi said: "The country and nation of Iran, after the Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), have made remarkable achievements in the fields of technology, education for men and women, economy, rights of women and minorities, peace, convergence and regionalism among neighboring countries."
He emphasized that according to the decree of Imam Khamenei (May Allah protect him), the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the policy of maximum interaction with the Afghan nation is on the agenda and he believes that the problems of the region should be solved by the countries of the region.
Hosting Afghan refugees; a sign of Iran's goodwill
The Iranian Consul General emphasized the goodwill of the Islamic Republic of Iran in hosting millions of Afghan refugees and added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, in accordance with its policies and guidelines, supports any action that helps ensure peace and stability."
He also noted that Iran is the second Islamic country in producing science in the world and said: "The activity of more than ten thousand knowledge-based companies, Iran being among the top 10 innovative and drug-producing countries in the world, launching a satellite into space and other scientific advances are among the achievements of the Islamic Revolution of Iran."
The Message of the Islamic Revolution of Iran: Awakening, Resistance and Non-Domination
Ahmadi continued his speech and said: "Awakening and global awareness, non-domination, resistance and resistance are the message and lesson of the Islamic Revolution of Iran led by Imam Khomeini (RA) for the oppressed people of the world and Islamic countries, and this message has spread throughout the East and West of the world today."
Facilitating Consular Services for the People of Afghanistan
The Iranian Consul General also referred to the consular services provided by this mission and said: "About a thousand visas are issued daily for the honorable people of the northern provinces of Afghanistan. Therefore, Afghan citizens are advised not to enter Iran illegally."
He clarified that the policy of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif over the past year has been to issue visas without restrictions to residents of the northern provinces of Afghanistan, and called on the media to provide more information about the negative consequences of illegal immigration.
Developing economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan
In another part of his speech, Ahmadi emphasized the expansion of economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan and announced plans to hold a joint trade fair in Mazar-e-Sharif. He added: “Developing economic relations with Afghanistan is the priority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and in this regard, consultations and efforts are continuing to hold this trade fair as soon as possible.”
Warning to tourism companies
Officials of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif called on tourism companies to operate in accordance with the established procedures and to refrain from charging additional money under the pretext of issuing visas. They warned that in case of violation, these companies will be dealt with.
