Exhibition of Achievements of the 46th Year of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and Paintings by Afghan Artists in Kabul
With the arrival of the blessed days of the Fajr decade and the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the exhibition of achievements of the 46th Year of the Islamic Revolution of Iran under the title "Pride in the Past, Hope in the Future", along with a painting exhibition by Afghan artists, was opened on February 8, at the Cultural Counseling Office of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The section of the exhibition of achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran included 46 stands that displayed images and explanations of the latest achievements of the Islamic Revolution in various fields, including women's social activities, artificial intelligence, military advances, nuclear science, sports successes, medical sciences and the production of biotechnology drugs, herbal medicines for the treatment of incurable diseases, new technologies for the treatment of deafness, the treatment of thalassemia through bone marrow transplantation, the manufacture of neural prostheses, and the production of invisible cartridges. The exhibition was well received by visitors, and the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran provided the necessary explanations in each section.
 
Dr. Seyed Rohullah Hosseini, Cultural Counselor of Iran, said about the exhibition: "The amazing progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran over more than four decades promises a bright future for Iran and the Islamic world. This is while the enemies, with negative propaganda, have always tried to promote despair and hopelessness among the Iranian nation and Islamic societies."
He continued: "This exhibition has been held in two parts: the first part, introducing the achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of science, technology and social progress, and the second part, displaying paintings by Afghan artists and art students, which have been exhibited with the aim of supporting the artistic activities of these artists."
Mr. Bekdali, the Charge d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul, also spoke with some visitors during his visit to the exhibition, especially students who have been accepted into the Islamic Republic of Iran's universities on scholarships. Addressing the students, he said: "You are all like my children and your success in the Islamic Republic of Iran is important to us. Your presence as a bridge between the elites of the two countries will play an important role in developing scientific and cultural relations. The Iranian people have always had a good opinion and special interest in the people of Afghanistan, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has always tried to help the people of Afghanistan in all fields, especially in the scientific and cultural fields."
He also emphasized: "Despite the sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran has succeeded in achieving significant progress and achievements in the scientific fields. On the other hand, the presence of Afghan students in Iran has been extensive and significant compared to other foreign countries, which indicates a deep scientific and cultural bond between the two countries."
 
In conclusion, Mr. Bekdali thanked the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran for holding this exhibition and creating an opportunity to talk to the students.
 
Also at this ceremony, one of the students present, on behalf of the other students, stated: "The scientific and cultural achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran that have been exhibited in this exhibition are very remarkable and honorable. We are grateful to the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially its Cultural Counselor in Afghanistan, for providing the opportunity for higher education for Afghan youth in an advanced country like Iran. We will also do our best to be active in the common civilization and cultural field of the two countries and strengthen the ties between the two nations through scientific elites."
